A case of congenital prepyloric diaphragmatic obstruction

Abstract

|
A case female infant which proved as a prepyloric diaphragmatic obstruction was treated surgically at the department of surgery, Inchon´ Christian Hospital. A 4-day-old female infant weighing 3.2kg has had recurrent episedes of vomiting and respiratory distress especially after
meal.
Upper G. I. series sbc ed´with a obstructed pyloric region and somewhat dilated´stonach.
The patient received lap.arotemy under the tentative diagnosis of congenital hypertrophic pyloric stenosis.
The postoperative diagnosis might be confirmed as prephloric diaphrogmatic obstruction. The prepyloric diaphragmatic obstruction built up only followed by postoperative finding.
